The Cardiac Rehab Center compliments the Hospital’s Heart Institute Program in providing a comprehensive cardiologic program and management that ranges from prevention, invasive and non-invasive treatments to rehabilitation.
Open-Heart Surgery Patients and those who have unfortunately suffered a recent heart attack/failure can benefit of the services of the rehab center as it accelerates patient recovery enabling patients to resume their normal functions and ultimately live a fruitful life.
Our program is based on patient’s medical needs, abilities and goals. It is a safe and effective way to help our patients build strength and feel better faster, manage stress, reduce risk of future heart problems and increase self-confidence.
The center provides a 4-phase program that will fit any of the various stages of cardiac decompensation, program ranges from acute care setting to maintenance phase ideal for cardiac patients who wishes to improve their physical condition.
Our cardiac rehab team consists of medical professionals together with the patient’s family members. Our team together with the patient may include cardiologists, nurses, dieticians, pharmacists, physical therapists, exercise specialists and spiritual advisors whose aim is to provide holistic health care for faster recovery.
