Spoiler?

The Commission on Elections (Comelec)’s decision to allow former President Joseph Estrada to run once more for the presidency sends all the wrong signals to the Filipino people and makes a mockery of the democracy that many of us had fought for in not just one but two People Power uprisings. Indeed, that the decision was released on the ninth anniversary of EDSA 2 gives it a symbolic twist that favors Estrada.
