Since 1969 the Davao Doctors Hospital has continued its quest to provide good quality health care to all Dabawenyos in the community including those out of the city. It was also this year that the new board of directors have decided to have a new logo together with a new tagline, “We care for life”.

On July 3, the most prestigious hospital in the city celebrated its 40th year full of thanksgiving to God and the people in the community. The full support of the Dabawenyos has made the hospital a better hospital. A ceremonial toast of wine was led by Dr. Dominador Cabrera, vice president for medical affairs.

Andres Licaros Jr, president and CEO of the hospital said they are moving towards higher standards of patient care not only in Mindanao, but also in the Southeast Asian region.

In pursuit of excellence, Licaros said they will continue to be steadfast in their mission. “We strive to consistently delight our patients with the warmth of our service. We desire to serve our patients in a way that will make them feel better as we help them get well,” he said.

Meanwhile, chair of the board Manuel V. Pangilinan expressed his congratulations and utmost admiration to the members of the board of directors of the hospital through a video presentation.

Pangilinan also stated that his support will continue for the betterment of the hospital. Everyone - including the shareholders and other special invited guests - were glad to be present during this most memorable event in DDH history.
