Fertilizers again

In a report by the Philippine Information Agency over the weekend, government is set to shell out P295 million as fertilizer subsidy for farmers across Mindanao.

Clouds of doubt

There’s a lot of dubiety enshrouding the move of the government to arrest Alvarez Isnaji, mayor of Indanan town in Sulu for alleged involvement in the kidnapping of ABS CBN reporter Ces Drilon and company, and for allegedly keeping 60 percent of the P5 million ransom money intended to buy the release of the kidnap victims. From the looks of it, the charges simply won’t wash.
