Late last week, media reported that two people died inside a mining tunnel in T’boli, apparently due to suffocation. Because of the country’s much ballyhooed power insufficiency, brownouts have been occurring all over the place, including makeshift minesites like the one in T’boli. The power interruption was said to have shut off the blower that fans oxygen into the tunnel.
