More than 3,000 new nurses took oath last March 10 at CAP Auditorium with two sessions, one in the morning and another in the afternoon with Philippine Nurses Association (PNA)-Davao City Chapter as its sponsoring chapter.
Organized by the Philippine Nurses Association, Inc. (PNAI) Regional Council 11 in coordination with the Board of Nursing (BON), Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and Association of Deans of Philippine Colleges of Nursing (ADPCN), welcome remarks was warmly delivered by PNA-Davao City Chapter president Rowena A. Abundo.
ADPCN-Davao City Chapter president Linell Malimbag presented the inductees by school and pledge of commitment. Engr. Josephine Liamzon, PRC Region 11 director, introduced the guest speaker who was BON member Marco Antonio Sto. Tomas, which was followed by the oath of professionals. Florence Nightingale Pledge by Top 5, November 2009 NLE Rio Michelle Yap Renomeron while Nurse’s Prayer by VP-Finance, PNA-Davao City Chapter Nida Penar. BOG Region 11 of PNA Roberto Palec gave his message and was followed by an oath of membership to PNA. Closing remarks by VP-PD of PNA-Davao City Chapter Jinky Jane Millanes. Jessica Mae De la Pena, PIO of PNA-Davao City Chapter was the master of ceremonies. |
